The Colts have the 24th overall pick in the draft, and NFL Mocks believes that they Colts will take defensive lineman, Datone Jones. Jones was a versatile five-year Senior, who played well for the UCLA Bruins. Jones, at 6ft 4in and 275lbs, started 43 games, recorded 148 tackles and 12.5 sacks during his college career.

Indianapolis will most likely have to wait until round three (86th overall draft spot) to pick up another rookie prospect. NFL Mocks believes the Colts will use that spot to try and sure up what was a shakey offensive line from last season. Drafting center Brian Schwenke could definitely help quarterback Andrew Luck in the long run. Schwenke is a four-year Senior from University of California, Berkeley. Schwenke (6ft 4in and 300lbs) was an All-Pac-12 First Team player in 2012.

Naptown’s Finest 2013 NFL Mock Draft -

1) Kansas City Chiefs – Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia – New head coach Andy Reid will need a top-notch prospect to hitch his coaching wagon to in KC. It doesn’t hurt that Smith’s skill set resembles two quarterbacks that Reid worked with in the past, Mike Vick and Donovan McNabb. If the Chiefs don’t trade out to load up on picks, then this should be where they go to kick off the draft.

2) Jacksonville Jaguars – Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M

3) Oakland Raiders – Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah

4) Philadelphia Eagles –  Bjoern Woerner, DE, Florida State – Woerner is one of the best players in the entire draft, and will be a steal for the Eagles defense if he falls this far.

5) Detroit Lions – Chance Warmack, OL, Alabama – Warmack was a main cog in that amazing Alabama O-line, and should be the best player still available that isn’t a defensive lineman. The defensive line is already loaded for the Lions.

6) Cleveland Browns –  Sheldon Richardson, DL, Missouri – The Browns have so many holes to fill, that it’s hard to know where to start. If Richardson is still on the board, he will make a nice combo on their defensive line alongside Phil Taylor.

7) Arizona Cardinals – Tyler Wilson, QB, Arkansas – Once again, we see a new head coach that steps into a team with a terrible quarterback situation. Rookie head coach Bruce Arians has spent his career molding young quarterbacks, and Wilson will become his new pet project.

8) Buffalo Bills - Kenny Vaccaro, CB/S, Texas -The Bills have to do something to slow down the New England Patriots’ deadly offense, who seems to light them up twice every year. Vaccaro could bolster their defense in either spot.

9) New York Jets – Damontre Moore, DE/OLB, Texas A&M-Defense, defense, defense preaches Rex Ryan. It will be hard for him to avoid one of the best defenders still available.

10) Tennesse Titans – Barkevious Mingo, DE/OLB, LSU

11) San Diego Chargers – Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan – The offensive line in San Diego was terrible last season, just ask Philip Rivers. The best OT left in the draft will help.

12) Miami Dolphins – Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama - Two words: Tom Brady. Just like the Bills, Miami must try to build around stopping Brady’s high-scoring offense.

13) Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State – Same situation, different division. The Bucs must face Drew Brees, Matt Ryan, and all of their weapons twice a year.

14) Carolina Panthers –  Keenan Allen, WR, California - Cam Newton needs a big target. ‘Nuff said

15) New Orleans Saints - Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU

16) St. Louis Rams – Jon Cooper, OL, North Carolina

17) Pittsburgh Steelers – Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia - The Steelers need help on the offensive line, but many of the best have already been snapped up at this point. So, the Steelers will do what they usually do, and will draft the best linebacker left.

18) Dallas Cowboys – Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State

19) New York Giants – Manti Te’o, ILB, Notre Dame – The biggest story in football once again comes to the Big Apple. Last year, it was Tim Tebow to the Jets. This year, it’s Te’o to the Giants. This story will end up much better, as Manti should flourish under coach Tom Coughlin.

20) Chicago Bears – Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma

21) Cincinnati Bengals – Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia – One more weapon for Andy Dalton could make this offense one of the best in the league. Austin is a speedster that could match nicely with A.J. Green.

22) St. Louis Rams (From Washington Redskins) -  Dion Jordan, DE, Oregon

23) Minnesota Vikings – Kevin Minter, LB, LSU

24) Indianapolis Colts – Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma – The Colts went very heavy on offense in last year’s draft, but their offensive line (while talented) was a mess for much of the season. They have to try and sure up their line to protect Andrew Luck, and if Johnson is still around, he will be a steal with this pick.

25) Seatle Seahawks – Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame – Russell Wilson needs weapons, and this big target would work well alongside fellow Golden Domer, Golden Tate.

26) Green Bay Packers – Alec Ogletree, LB, Georgia – The Packers need tacklers, and this is one of the best left.

27) Houston Texans – Tony Jefferson, SS, Oklahoma

28) Denver Broncos – Jordan Poyer, CB, Oregon State

29) New England Patriots – Datone Jones, DE, UCLA

30) Atlanta Falcons – Zach Ertz, TE, Stanford - Atlanta will need to replace Tony Gonzalez, and Ertz would fit nicely.

31) Baltimore Ravens – Arthur Brown, LB, Kansas State – The Ravens will need to replace Ray Lewis.

32) San Fransico 49ers - Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee

This week’s NFL Mock Draft has the Colts taking C.J. Mosley, an outside linebacker, from Alabama. Mosley is a two-time All-American Junior for the Crimson Tide. He is one of the best linebackers in his class, and has the chance to help Alabama raise another BCS National Championship banner this season. Whether or not Alabama wins the national title this year, Mosley will be one of the hottest prospects at his position.

The Colts could definitely use some new blood on defense. Robert Mathis and Dwight Freeney aren’t getting any younger. Mathis has played well in his move to the linebacker spot, but Freeney hasn’t looked very comfortable all season. Mosley would make a great addition to this young team, but the Colts have also found some diamonds in the rough at the linebacker position in recent seasons, with Pat Angerer and Jerrell Freeman.
