As the Indianapolis Colts continue organized team activities and offseason voluntary workouts, they will currently be with CB- Greg Toler. Toler is taking his time, as he tries to mend a groin injury. The Colts are going to move on the side of caution when it comes to Toler’s injury, due to how important his presence will be for them on the defensive side of the ball this season.
Toler was originally selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2009 NFL Draft. The Colts picked up the defensive back as an unrestricted free agent in March of last year. Toler played in only nine games last season, totaling 23 tackles (17 solo) and one interception.
Since being drafted in 2009, Toler is yet to play a full NFL season. In fact, a knee injury caused him to miss the entire 2011 season for the Cardinals. When healthy, Toler can be a came-changing player. The concern with bringing him to the Colts was the fact that he indeed does have such a injury-riddled career.
