Injury Update: LaRon Landry Probable vs. Patriots

The Indianapolis Colts are under 24 hours away from their playoff game against the New England Patriots. LaRon Landry appears to be ready to play on Saturday night, and will be a major help in the secondary for a fairly weak defensive backfield. He sustained a concussion after taking a knee to the helmet in the game against the Kansas City Chiefs last week.

Landry finished the regular season with 87 tackles and two pass breakups in 12 games with the Colts, but makes a difference across the middle in more than just box score statistics. Opposing wide receivers are more than aware of the power that Landry brings with his hits, and he can force mistakes if a player is too concerned about avoiding a massive hit.

All that being said, the Colts are going to need each and every defensive back that they can get against Tom Brady and the Patriots. Landry being in the defensive backfield brings a huge sigh of relief for Colts fans, and it will be interesting to see what kind of impact he has on this game. The time is nearing Colts fans, are you ready?
