Indianapolis Colts Finish 2013 NFL Regular Season

John Rieger-USA TODAY Sports

The Indianapolis Colts continue to improve. The Colts have surprised the NFL, with 11-5 records for both 2012 and 2013. Although the records for this team were identical, the end results may not be so similar. The 2013 version of the Colts have fought through serious injury and inconsistency, to again regain the AFC South title, for the first time in three years.

The Colts were the only team in the NFL to complete a 6-0 sweep against their division this season. Although the AFC South was weak in 2013, Indianapolis made their mark in the division, and will be a tough team to take the crown from next year. Aside from staying perfect against the AFC South, the Colts also finished the 2013 NFL regular season strong, by winning four of their final five games.

The Indianapolis defense has allowed only 20 total points in their last three games. The Colts have committed the fewest turnovers in the NFL, and are also the second-least penalized team in the league. If the Colts can stay consistent in these three categories, then they will be a hard team to stop in the NFL Playoffs.
