Now that the smoke has settled after the 2013 NFL Scouting Combine, the Indianapolis Colts can go back to the war room, and compare notes over what they have seen over the past week. After dozens of drills and player interviews, it is now time for the Colts to look deeper at what they learned. These young prospects have all been clamouring to be the next member of this reloaded franchise.

There are several spots that could use filling on this team’s roster, and any prospective rookie could be a home run or a big whiff. Some of these holes will surely be filled in free agency, but even when drafting late in a round, the Colts must make sure to take the right piece to fill the right space. If selected properly, this rookie class could become prize players for this team for quite some time in the future.

Last year’s draft, the first for GM Ryan Grigson and head coach Chuck Pagano as Colts, was one of the best in the league. 2012 rookies like Andrew Luck, Vick Ballard, and T.Y. Hilton were not only called upon early and often, but also shined when the spotlight was on them. If the Colts can come anywhere near to how they drafted last season, then the future will be bright. The main questions for the Colts now, is what did they learn, and where are they going to go?
