Jim Caldwell May Not Be Safe With Colts After All

Despite a Tweet from Jake Query over the weekend that Jim Caldwell will be retained for the 2012 season as the head coach of the Indianapolis Colts, it seems that Caldwell may not want to cancel that appointment with his real estate agent just yet.  CBS Sports analyst Charley Casserly is now reporting that new general manager Ryan Grigson will meet with Caldwell this week and then make a recommendation to owner Jim Irsay.

So, go ahead and hold your breath, Colts fans.   We may still get some good news for 2012.  One thing that is clear in all this is that Irsay will ultimately make the call at coach, for better or for worse.
