Chris Mortensen: Colts to take Andrew Luck

As illustrated here, Andrew Luck is about two-thirds the quarterback that Peyton Manning is.

To hear (or, to read) ESPN’s Chris Mortensen tell it, the Indianapolis Colts have already decided what to do with that Number 1 pick in April’s NFL Draft:  select Second Coming quarterback Andrew Luck from Stanford.    Mort says that owner Jim Irsay likes the “symmetry” that signing Luck would give the history of the franchise, from John Elway through Peyton Manning through Luck.  Of course, real symmetry could only be achieved if the Colts drafted Luck and he spurned their advances to sign with the Broncos.

Hey, at least then we’d have a shot at Tebow, right?
