Pretty darn fine post. I must say that, once the dust all settles, when you boil it all down to the most simple element, the Colts are a classy, poised, and extremely well LED organization.
Yes, it starts at the top with Jim Irsay, and continues with Bill Polian and Tony Dungy. . . . .and then Peyton Manning.
Nobody panics or whines when the going gets unfairly rugged. Next man up, and let's get the job DONE!!
We're weathering a little storm right now. We'll be stronger after we come out the far end. Healthy, battle-tested youth, and talented returning vets will converge on this talented roster and we'll start seeing what this year's team is truly capable of. Meanwhile, stand back and admire a class act winning on about 4of8 cylinders. That's what GOOD teams do.
By week seven (after the bye) we should have all our tools back in the bag. And some serious acquired mental toughness acquired from early adversity. Hello, Lombardi Trophy!

Props to the Colts. This game proved - give Peyton Manning and Adam Vinatieri a second chance to beat you, and they will beat you.
