Ed was a exclusive rights free agent so as long as the Colts offered him a league minimum deal he couldn't sign with any other team. The told him he'd get 1 year at the minimum and he'd like it. He didn't like it but he signed. If Antonie Bethea hadn't been amazing we'd have seen an all Big Ten secondary on the Colts with Ohio State's Mike Doss as the SS. The other answer I loved hearing was Polian admitting the worn down Edge. That really makes me believe they are committed to the 2 back system.
