Despite the injuries, despite the hype, despite the heartbreak after what could have been another SB season...I have to say this was all-in-all a successful season for the Colts. Of course it's shadowed by what's working out to be another Patriots SB win, but the Colts accomplished and proved a lot more this season than any other team. Not to diss the Patriots record, but they didn't deal with the debilitating injuries the Colts did which is why they achieved so much this season...and I grudgingly admit, "They deserve it." The Colts fought through starting third-stringers and practice team members, as well as a beat up and inexperienced offense and still managed to get a 13-3 record on the year. Wow. Also, they managed to resign Bob Sanders to a lucrative, multi-year contract, get some great gametime experience to younger players to hone their skills on, get a few Pro Bowlers into a deserved leis, and also (so far) not lose too many players, not to mention get some positive feedback on Dwight Freeney's future with the Colts (it looks very good he'll be back healthy as ever in July). I see the 08 Colts shaping up to be an organization to be reckoned with! Especially since Dungy and the entire coaching staff is back. It's a new day and a new season in a new retractable-roof stadium (so everyone can finally just back off about playing in a dome)! I'm already excited for next year!
