Another one from The Eff Files, this one featuring Pacers combo guard Marquis Daniels. Really, I don’t even know what to say. I didn’t even think this was possible, that is until I heard about a lady doing it the other day. Speechless, I’ll let the tattoo and a corresponding quote from Dime Magazine do the talking…

The Cowboys beat the Packers, Romo threw for 4 TDs (one to T.O. – 2 had he caught a sure-thing early in the Q4 – and caught for 156 yards), and the ‘Boys defense took Favre out in the Q2. Yes, it could’ve been a different story for the Packers score had Favre not stayed on the sidelines throughout the 2nd half, but Dallas still scored 37 points. Could Favre bring them back to 38 points or more? Who knows…Not important anymore.
Dallas is 11-1 and Green Bay is 10-2.
My question is this: How long will it take for Green Bay to be [...]
Better Off Without J.O.?
Here’s some more info for those on the better-off-without-Jermaine O’Neal bandwagon, from a pretty good article on Mike Dunleavy’s resurgence:
The Pacers (8-8) appear to be in the process of phasing out Jermaine O’Neal, whose back-to-the-basket game doesn’t fit with O’Brien’s Rick Pitino-influenced, see-the-three-be-the-three offense. Dunleavy, Danny Granger (career-high 18.4 points) and point guard Jamaal Tinsley (13.9 points, career-high 8.3 assists) are thriving. It might not be a coincidence that Indiana is 5-1 without O’Neal this season. It is 3-7 with him. (You get the feeling that O’Neal will have to turn into an overdribbling, gunslinging Antoine Walker to blend in [...]
In the NBA there is a term that gets thrown around quite a bit. That term is “franchise player.” Was Jermaine O’Neal such a player at one time. Yes. Back in 2003-04 he finished third in the MVP voting, and was one Reggie Miller bad decision (go strong for the dunk, old man) and one Ron Artest meltdown (headaches, my ass… that’s straight out of the Scottie Pippen playbook for chokers) away from leading the Pacers to the NBA Finals. Against an aging, self-imploding Lakers team I believe the Pacers would’ve beaten, I might add. (the Pistons beat them in [...]
While our Colts are resting this week with some easier practices (they didn’t don their pads until yesterday, almost a full week after their game against the Falcons), the ‘Boys and the Packers are gearing up for the NFC equivalent to their Super Bowl. (Aw, isn’t that cute…the NFC thinks they can stand up to the AFC.) Too bad only one-third of Americans will be able to watch it because the NFL Network is the only station airing it.
Tonight’s NFC battle should be epic, again, equivalent to a Pats-Colts game:
A weak rush defense versus an always ground-gaining running game.
Two QBs constantly [...]
Re-signing The Punisher
For those of you reading the comments from the last post may be interested in that tatt we mentioned. Luke Lawton (a.k.a. LL Full Back) was just re-signed as Simeon Rice got the boot and The Punisher is back!!! Let’s see if The Punisher has the opportunity this time to actually punish someone on the field.
Simeon Rice, Released
Â
Well, I have no flippin’ clue who’s going to replace him but Simeon Rice is out now. The situation is Freeney is out so they brought in Big Sim and after two games they release him…and re-sign FB Luke Lawton. Nothing against LL Full Back or anything, but he can’t take Freeney’s place. Rice got one sack during his two games with the Colts, but apparently it wasn’t enough as he played sluggishly and didn’t quite prove that his shoulder was healed as he said.
Here are some different links that review and shed some more light on the situation…ESPN and [...]

Tom Brady who? Peyton Manning can pull wool, too! Check out his hotty wife, the one and only Ashley Manning…
Indiana University has been known for one thing, and that is obviously basketball, and even that hasn’t been all that great since the release of Bobby Knight. Now IU just may have a new calling. Since the Death of the Hoosiers football Coach Terry Hoeppner last year, the Hoosiers seem to have found someone that will still get them to a bowl game this year, and just maybe turn the program around. Bill Lynch was only hired in as the interim Head Coach this year, and has since taken the Hoosiers to a 7-5 record. As [...]
