Thanks largely to Jamaal Tinsley, the Indiana Pacers kick off the Jim O’Brien era with an opening night overtime home win over the Washington Wizards. The win is especially impressive when you consider the Pacers were without All-Star forward Jermaine O’Neal. Tinsley put up 16 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter and overtime, and also had nine rebounds, eight assists and three steals. I don’t want to prematurely you know what, but maybe, just maybe, O’Brien was just what the doctor orderer for No. 11.
Danny Granger and Mike Dunleavy also put up great numbers. Granger hit five threes [...]

Who am I? I’m Adam Best, co-director of the FAN-Sided Blogs network and blogger/writer. I’m the lead writer over at Arrowhead Addict, but now I’ll also be over here from time to time covering the Indiana Pacers. Even though I grew up in Missouri, I’m a life-long die-hard Pacers fan. It’s good that you know me now, but who are the Pacers?
That there is a heck of a question.
The answer is that we don’t really [...]

“I win games, break records, needlessly embarrass other professionals, and impregnate models, yet deep down I know I’m still not better than Peyton. The devil’s already got my soul, what else would it take to be the greatest?”
How would you caption this?
Another Record Broken!
That’s right! Peyton just hit the 288th TD of his career, stealing the record from the legendary Johnny Unitas.
And on top of that, Peyton is the 1st quarterback to defeat 31 teams in the NFL!
You’re making memories, Peyton! Enjoy it and keep it up!
GO COLTS!!!
The Colts began their road to the Super Bowl, really, on Monday night against Jacksonville. Next is 4-2 Carolina, and it’s not going to be easy. Then, well…then there’s New England and San Diego, one giant and one returning-to-form-giant in the following weeks. And speaking of Giants, Eli Manning’s in London today playing the red-headed stepchildren of the NFL. Yeah, way to go Goodell…you try to spread the NFL’s influence by sending a mediocre team on a streak and skidmarks of the NFL. Gosh, I can’t see why the world wouldn’t eat futbol americana up.
Alright, the Colts…First, take a look at NFL [...]

“Good. At least the Panthers are taking their
chances this week against the Colts seriously.”
So, you know the drill…what’s your caption here?

“What? No, you’ve got it all wrong America! I really am that evil to run up the score on the worst team in the NFL. Oh, and I also drown puppies at night time.”

So, let’s here what your caption would be…Leave it in the comments section below!
So David Carr might play this Sunday against the Colts if he’s healthy, says Coach Fox of Carolina… … …Okay, I’m sorry but I’m just not worried about David Carr. I mean, he’s a decent QB – he’s got skills and all – but that was in college. Had he not been the league’s speed bump since the day he was drafted, he might be just what the Panthers need this week, but, no, David Carr, if he plays, is not going to be a major threat.
This musical chairs that Carolina’s been do-si-dohing this season is just what the Colts [...]
So Which Horseman Is Tom Brady?
It’s time for a little light reading about our Colts, who seem to be getting more and more attention. Since when is it possible for a defending Super Bowl champion team to “fly under the radar” in its defending year? Well, some are thinking 2007 is when it became possible. When Moss and Stallworth signed with the Pats and Brady became a Sith Lord of all New England, only second to Chancellor Belichick, that’s when.
Take a look at this phenomenal article written by our friends at ESPN. The Battle of Good and Evil is upon us! Before you jump over there though, [...]
