Reminder
Hey all! Just as a reminder…tomorrow night (Wednesday, July 31) the Colts are having a special night practice at 730pm, so let’s get out there and show ‘em some support. Otherwise, stay tuned. We should know a roster here shortly and then about the time it takes Vick to plead “Not Guilty” the season BEGINS!!!

Training Camp begins in just a few hours! The Colts are returning to their usual haunt. Tisk, Tisk, Vick
Vick’s chances of getting found innocent are about as good as Rae Carruth’s chances for getting away with his cross-country trip to Nashville in the trunk of his buddy’s car. What the hell is on was on Rae-Rae’s mind??? Better yet, what the hell was on Michael Vick’s mind…like you wouldn’t know if someone – you’re own family! – was running an illegal dog-fighting ring out of one of your homes. At least that game just got easier for the Colts. Now, instead of the Vick-Horn connection the Colts have the Harrington-Can’t-Get-The-Ball-Out-Of-The-Box-So-I’ll-Just-Fall-Down connection…I feel a lot better. Thanks Vick!
First In Our Hearts, But Are They First In Our Minds?
Yahoo! Sports NFL writers Jason Cole and Charles Robinson have released their pre-season rankings with the Colts ranked 3rd and 4th respectively. They both cite reasons for the defensive gaps, with our cornerbacks gone and Ole June, the trusty linebacker, hitting the road, too. I’m not too sure what to make of their picks as the Bolts being a better team or even the Pats. Both dynamic and intimidating squads, no doubt, but c’mon! Both of those teams have gone through as many changes in the off-season. Brady‘s got Moss and Stallworth – two outstanding receivers, without a doubt – but [...]
The Prodigal Blogmaster Returns!
Alright Colts fans…your blogmaster is back. After a great Florida vacation I returned to a crashed computer Fantastic! But I’m coming to you from a brand new laptop and ready to start deliverin’ the news and conquering the world – wait! That comes later, but I invite you in the meantime to follow along. The season’s gearing up, but first we’ve got training camp and a pre-season where our newbies and plugs can show their stuff. Speaking of training camp, though…What’s the hell’s up with Tarik Glenn’s out-of-the-blue retirement announcement? Even MORE of a reason to check back to Naptown’s [...]
The Colts win “Best Team” at the 2007 ESPY Awards
Just A Rumor Right Now…
Rumor has it that Freeney‘s not getting the “franchise tag” after all. No, he’s not, which is kind of depressing until you hear that Colts just signed Freeney to something like a 6-year contract! Cross your fingers my buddy’s not lying through his teeth…(Sorry to throw you in front of the bus like that, Mike – you’re still my boy, Blue!) I’ll verify as soon as I can, and offer the details!
Two New Additions!
Alright listen up ’cause I’m only saying this once. The first football game I remember ever watching was the New York Giants vs. the Buffalo Bills…what I call the Scott Norwood Bowl. I was nine years old and I was a Buffalo fan then, but wait! Then something happened. They repeated and repeated and repeated their Super Bowl appearances, all a different shade of the Scott Norwood Bowl, but just as depressing. I turned my focus to my hometown team, the Colts led by then-It Man: Jim Harbaugh…but deep in the back of my mind I silently hoped the Bills [...]
Dungy Rare TV Appearance
FYI for all you locals…Coach Tony Dungy will appear on Channel 13′s morning news show during the 6:30am half-hour segment prior to the Today Show. This will be tomorrow, July 11. A tip: make sure you turn your volume way up so you can hear him.
Fantasy Football Picks ’07
My draft preferences are set for my fantasy team this year. Last year, I took the Manning-Harrison connection, Reggie Bush and Dominic Rhodes, and Heath Miller as TE. This year, I’m taking another tac (list includes entire roster): QB – Matt Leinart (AZ), Peyton Manning(IND), Tom Brady (NE) RB – Thomas Jones(NYJ), Joseph Addai(IND), Frank Gore (SF), Maurice Jones-Drew (JAX) WR – Anquan Boldin (AZ), Reggie Wayne (IND), Randy Moss (NE), T.J. Hoosyourmama (CIN), Larry Fitzgerald (AZ) TE – Antonio Gates (SD), Tony Gonzalez (KC), Kellon Winslow (CLE) K – Adam Vinatieri (IND), Jay Feeley (MIA) D – Chicago Bears, [...]
