The Pacers’ Stanko
I have a new post out over on my blog Pacman Jonesin’ that I thought Indiana Pacers fans (I’m a huge Pacers fan) would enjoy. Here’s an excerpt:
“There isn’t much that’s less enjoyable these days than being an Indiana Pacers fan. I mean, this guy and this guy, not to mention sick boy, really hung us out to dry. Then we trade for a guy with tats like this (just look at the bottom right one)…”
Head on over there to read the rest. Go Pacers!

Indianapolis Colts Quick Links
Stampede Blue breaks down the Houston Texans and their re-built defense. Big Cat Country breaks down the Tennessee Titans.
What was Peyton Manning doing at USC ?
How could a project possibly go 40-million over budget ? Well Lucas Oil Stadium builders seem to have found a way.
Check out the latest odds to win the Super Bowl . Tom Brady has nothing on “Cut that Meat.”
Oh Danny Boooooyyyyyy
Okay, how cool is this Dan Klecko guy?
I was rifling through the colts.com photographs they have posted and I stumbled upon this photo of Big Boy Klecko handling that ball like the Baby Jesus wrapped in swaddling clothes as he does some type of elbow-drop into that beautiful dark blue sea Peyton likes to call victory.(Breathe…ahhhh.)
Yeah, I’d say it’s a good thing we picked him up. This former Patriot not only helped the Colts clinch the Super Bowl appearance with this clutch TD, but he also stepped into a difficult position: He was already replacing an injured Corey Simon last [...]
Worst Rush Defense?
Very interesting statistic on SportsCenter yesterday…the 2006 Colts were the first team in 22 years to allow every opponent to rush for over 100 yards each game.
Wow…even with the way the season ended, that’s still kind of depressing.
So, what do the Colts need to do to fix that? Any suggestions?
2007 ESPY Awards
The Colts are nominated for 7 ESPY Awards…not bad.
Peyton is nominated for Best Male Athlete. He’s up against a healthy field here, including LeBron James, Roger Federer, Tiger Woods and LaDanian Tomlinson. (Lance Armstrong, who has swept the category the last 4 years, has retired and will no longer just have the trophy automatically shipped to his residence this time.)
Peyton is also nominated for Best Championship Performance and Best NFL Player – this one he’s up against some awesome players, but c’mon on! He’s the best QB in history, 2-time league MVP and now he’s Super Bowl Champ!
The Colts are also nominated for Best Team, winning [...]
Predictions: 2007 Regular Season
Besides playing other AFC South Division teams twice (Jacksonville, Tennessee and Houston), the Colts aren’t looking at a very easy schedule.
The season opener for the Colts is at home against New Orleans (the team I predicted last August to win the Super Bowl – it’s a good thing I suck at NFL predictions). It’ll be tough, but I have faith in the Colts. By the end of September, the Colts should look good at 4-0, though the Saints and Denver will be serious football, I’m thinking.
October would’ve been a horrible month had the Bye Week not popped in there after the [...]
What A Ride…
Here’s a look at the playoffs, just in case anyone needs to relive it:
Jan 6, 2007 – Colts defeat Chiefs, 23-8. The Chiefs didn’t stand a chance, the offense getting 28 first downs to the Chiefs’ 8. The defense steps up huge, arguably saving the offense, Freeney gets 2 sacks and a forced fumble (in photo).
Jan 13, 2007 – Colts defeat Ravens, 15-6. It was complete and total domination on defense, while Manning and the offense forgot where the endzone was. Either offense didn’t bother to show up, but Vinatieri covered the Colts.
Jan 21, 2007 – Colts defeat Patriots, 38-34. [...]
Ah, Cheerleaders…
This is Jessica and she was named Colts Cheerleader of the Week. That’s it. I just thought you’d all want to meet Jessica.
Hi Jessica…
